One person killed by power agents in Khasavyurt

In Khasavyurt, a policeman asked a passerby to stop and present documents, but he opened fire and was killed by return fire, said the spokesman of the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

According to the spokesman, the shootout has occurred today around 2:30 p.m. in Kirov   Street. The policeman decided to check documents of a stranger, who looked suspicious.

As a result, a shootout broke out, in which the man was shot dead. The spokesman has added that a grenade and a traumatic pistol, adapted for using live ammunition were found in the place of the incident.

The casualty has not been indentified yet, the RIA "Novosti" quotes its law enforcement source as saying.
