One of those killed in Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan named

One of the persons killed by power agents in a shootout near the settlement of Manas has been pre-identified as Kerim Khaibulaev; the second casualty cannot be identified without a DNA testing.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening on December 20, on the road in the vicinity of Manas, an armed skirmish broke out; and power agents killed two persons. According to law enforcers, the casualties were the first to open fire; and firearms were found in their car.

During the shootout, one of the attackers ran out of the car, a law enforcement source told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. He was pre-identified as Kerim Khaibulaev, a 28-year-old resident of Makhachkala.

"He had not been on the wanted list; however, law enforcers check him for involvement in other crimes," said the source.

The attackers' car caught fire in the shootout and burned down, he continued. Therefore, the driver's body was badly burned; and to identify it a DNA examination has been appointed, said the source.
