Special operation in Grozny completed

While reporting the results of the completed special operation, the Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has stated that in Grozny, seven militants were killed, four others were detained.

Earlier, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has reported on nine militants killed in Grozny over two days.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening of December 17, after an armed clash in the centre of Grozny, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced in the city. Ramzan Kadyrov has reported that four militants were killed in the shootout and two others were hospitalized with gunshot wounds. This afternoon, law enforcers have reported that they cordoned off a private house with militants on the outskirts of Grozny. Besides, the deaths of four policemen were also reported.

"The special operation in Grozny and its outskirts has been completed. Seven criminals were eliminated, and four others were detained, including three of them brought to a hospital with gunshot wounds," Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in his Instagram at about 7:30 p.m. Moscow time.
