Law enforcers report on four policemen killed in Grozny

Four policemen were killed by suspects involved in an attack on policemen in Grozny. The police launched the interception plan in the city. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a source from the law enforcement authorities. According to law enforcers, they managed to cordon off a group of militants in the Staropromyslovsky District.

Today, a source of the "Caucasian Knot" has reported the discovery in the village of Katayama of a body of a staff member of the Staropromyslovsky ROVD (District Interior Division) killed by suspects involved in the attack on the policemen. Throughout the city, law enforcers are seeking for three groupings of militants, numbering up to 16 people, the source reports.

In the evening of December 17, after the armed clash in the centre of Grozny, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced n the city. Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has reported that as a result of the armed clash, four militants were killed and two others were hospitalized with gunshot wounds. Three killed suspects have been already identified.

According to a source from the Chechen law enforcement authorities, today, three policemen have been killed in the armed clash in Grozny. The body of one more policeman was found in the village of Katayama, the source notes.

Thus, according to the source from the law enforcement authorities, in Grozny, suspects involved in the attack on policemen killed four law enforcers.
