"Akhmat Arena" cordoned off by power agents

The districts of Grozny, the Chechen capital, around the "Akhmat Arena" Stadium, where today the Russia-Romania football friendly match will be held, are blocked by law enforcers. Locals claim that the authorities had ordered universities and budgetary organizations to buy out tickets to the match.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that during the match security will be ensured by 2000 policemen.

Grozny residents report a large number of policemen in the central part of the city.

Also, state servants assert that all the ministries, departments and state-owned institutions of the republic had been instructed to purchase a certain number of tickets for the football match.

Earlier, the Russian national football team has never held matches in Grozny.

According to locals, tickets are bought not for money of state servants, but for organizations' budgets.

At the same time, there are a lot of people in the republic, who really want to attend the match.

The capacity of the "Akhmat Arena" Stadium is 30,000; all the tickets are sold out.
