Four men killed in shootout in Dagestan
In Khasavyurt, a shootout occurred after law enforcers had tried to stop a car to check the driver's documents. The incident has occurred last night during the special operation in Khasavyurt.
"Law enforcers tried to stop a suspicious car to check documents, and people opened fire from the car. Four armed criminals were killed by return fire," reports a source from the law enforcement bodies as quoted by the "Interfax".
The men killed in Khasavyurt have been preliminary identified as Khamzat Khakiev, Mukhamad Makhmudov, Ibadula Baidullaev, and Mikhradj Movludinov, investigators report.
According to the investigators, in 2015, Khamzat Khakiev, born in 1993, and Mukhamad Makhmudov, born in 1991, members of a terrorist grouping, were put on the federal wanted list for committing attacks on lives of law enforcers.
Ibadula Baidullaev, born in 1995, and Mikhradj Movludinov, born in 1995, were the accomplices of Khamzat Khakiev and Mukhamad Makhmudov, reports the message posted on the website of the Investigating Department for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
