Source from Dagestani MIA reports on arrest of two Kaspiysk residents

Shamil Djamalutdinov and Islam Magomedov, residents of the town of Kaspiysk, are arrested on suspicion of aiding and abetting members of an illegal armed formation (AIF). This was reported by a source from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 2, relatives of the two residents of Kaspiysk filed complaints about their kidnapping on September 27.

Relatives of Islam Magomedov have filed a complaint to the Dagestani MIA, the Prosecutor's Office, and the Investigating Department for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), reports Satsita, a sister of the disappeared man. According to the woman her brother disappeared after he had left his house in the direction of the cement plant in Kaspiysk.

Another relative of Islam Magomedov has confirmed that the men disappeared after their visit to the cement plant. According to the man, Islam Magomedov and Shamil Djamalutdinov met in Egypt, where Islam went for medical treatment.

Earlier, it has been reported that law enforcers have detained six persons in Kaspiysk, who, according to the law enforcement bodies, had been trained by terrorists from Syria for involvement in combat actions.
