At least eight attempts on Ramzan Kadyrov prevented since 2000

For 16 years, at least eight attempts were committed against Ramzan Kadyrov. This is the result of the calculations made by the "Caucasian Knot". One of the attempts in 2008 was reported by a source in Chechnya, while Ramzan Kadyrov himself called the report a provocation.

In spring 2016, a new attack on Ramzan Kadyrov was plotted by a group of young residents of Chechnya, the "Novaya Gazeta" reports. After the attempt had been prevented, "dozens of residents of the Nozhai-Yurt, Gudermes, and Kurchaloi Districts were detained."

In November 2015, an attempt on Ramzan Kadyrov was plotted by a group of young Chechens, who were going to leave for Syria to join the "Islamic State" (IS), banned in Russia.

On October 23, 2009, the law enforcement authorities of Chechnya reported on the prevention in Grozny of an attempt to assassinate Ramzan Kadyrov and his adviser Adam Delimkhanov.

On July 28, 2008, the "Caucasian Knot" was informed by a source that an attempt on Ramzan Kadyrov was committed in the village of Khoshi-Yurt (Tsentoroi) in Chechnya. Ramzan Kadyrov himself denied the information.

At night on May 1, 2004, Tsentoroi, the native village of the Kadyrov family, was attacked. According to Ramzan Kadyrov's subordinates, the attackers wanted to kill or kidnap the Chechen leader. The attack of the militants was repulsed.

On July 27, 2003, in the village of Tsotsan-Yurt of the Kurchaloi District, bodyguards did not allow a female suicide bomber to blow up Ramzan Kadyrov. The female terrorist and a local woman were killed.

On September 30, 2002, unidentified persons shelled a Ramzan Kadyrov's car in the village of Novogroznensky of the Gudermes District. One of his subordinates was wounded.

On May 12, 2000, on the highway "Kavkaz", an explosive device detonated near a Ramzan Kadyrov's jeep. The Chechen leader got a mild concussion.
