In Rostov-on-Don, residents of Sevastopol sentenced on charges of involvement in terrorist organization

The North-Caucasian District Military Court has four residents of Sevastopol guilty of involvement in the terrorist organization "Hizb ut-Tahrir", banned in Russia. The defendants were sentenced to 5-7 years of imprisonment.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 27, the case against four residents of Sevastopol, accused of involvement in the "Hizb ut-Tahrir" and creation of its unit in Crimea was sent to the court. The defendants pleaded not guilty.

The "Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami" (the Islamic Liberation Party) is an international Islamic political organization which purpose is to establish the Islamic rule in the world through the creation of "World Islamic caliphate".

Ruslan Zeitullaev, treated by prosecutors as an organizer of a unit of the terrorist organization, is sentenced to seven years of imprisonment, while Ferat Seifullaev, Rustem Vaitov and Nuri Primov were sentenced to five years of imprisonment in a common-security penal colony.
