Action of Armenian opposition ends without incidents

During their march, supporters of the "Sasna Tsrer" group were accompanied by several police cars.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today about 200 people, according to organizers, gathered in Freedom Square in Yerevan in support of the "Sasna Tsrer" group. There they decided to march through the main streets of the Armenian capital.

Police car crews were on duty along the whole march route, at intersections and in the central square of Yerevan. The march ended without incidents in Freedom Square.

On July 17-31, supporters of the oppositional "Constituent Parliament" held in Yerevan the captured building of the police patrol-and-post service (PPS) regiment. On the day of the capture, a policeman was killed and six people were injured. On July 29, policemen dispersed a march in support of the rebels; as a result, 55 marchers and four policemen were hospitalized.
