Yerevan: three persons wounded in shootout are under intensive care

Doctors in Yerevan treat the condition of two rebels, who were during shootout this night in the territory of the captured police regiment, are grave but stable. The wounded policeman is in the condition of moderate gravity, the medical centre reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today at night the police press service reported a shootout of policemen with the rebels, who had captured the building of the police regiment. As a result, a policeman and four rebels were wounded; two of the latter stay in the captured territory, while two others – Pavel Manukyan and his son Aram – were hospitalized.

The wounded policeman was also taken to hospital at night. All the three were operated on, and are in the intensive care unit, said Arutyun Mangoyan, the head of the intensive care unit of the "Erebuni" Medical Centre.

The centre is under strong guard of submachine gunners in masks and bulletproof vests, the TASS reports.
