Armenia pins great hopes on OSCE Minsk Group
Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly Artur Bagdasarian met with members of the delegation headed by OSCE Chairman's special envoy Philip Dimitrov to discuss issues related to the resolution of the Karabakh problem.
Artur Bagdasarian mentioned the lack of Azerbaijan's constructive position in the issue of regional cooperation, citing as an example the prohibition of Armenian officers' participation in NATO's maneuvers. The Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly also pointed out that the OSCE Minsk Group has done important and long work during that period and is keenly aware of details of the problem and has wide information, that is why great hopes are pinned on the Minsk Group in the process of peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
Mr Dimitrov is reported to have stated the OSCE considers the Karabakh conflict really complicated and difficult to resolve. At the same time, the OSCE hopes the parties will achieve success during the talks, he said.
