Political analysts explain appointments in Chechnya by deficit of Ramzan Kadyrov's agents

A limited number of people, who enjoy confidence of Chechen acting leader Ramzan Kadyrov, results in problems with the personnel and alternative sources of information. This opinion was voiced by experts.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 11, Idris Cherkhigov, a nephew of Ramzan Kadyrov, was appointed the chairman of the Council of Economic and Social Security (CESS) in Chechnya. He used to head the Chechen CESS earlier. Residents of Chechnya have expressed their dissatisfaction with the rotation of the same officials.

According to political analyst Dmitry Oreshkin, Ramzan Kadyrov "is afraid to attract new people, since he believes the experienced people or the people who are heavily dependent on him." The political analyst notes that the Ramzan Kadyrov's subordinates are not interested in admission to the power of people "from outside".

Dmitry Oreshkin believes that the Chechen leaders will unlikely respond to the citizens' opinion.

According to Mikhail Remizov, President of the National Strategy Institute, recently, in Chechnya, there is plenty of information occasions related to public criticism of the republic's leaders. However, "as a rule", the critical notes are followed by "public apologies and remorse," Mikhail Remizov emphasizes. According to him, this process proves "presence of domestic political pressure" in Chechnya.

Ramzan Kadyrov relies on his relatives and close friends not because of his congenial mechanism of self-protection. This is a "typical structure for the clan power hierarchy", common in Northern Caucasus. This opinion was expressed by Elena Milashina, a reporter of the newspaper "Novaya Gazeta".
