Nagorno-Karabakh accuses Azerbaijan of night shelling

Last night, the armed forces of Azerbaijan have shelled the positions of the Defence Army from small arms. This has been reported today by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at the meetings held in Vienna on May 16 and in Saint Petersburg on June 20, the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan declared their commitment to a peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict. Despite that fact, the two parties regularly accuse each other of violation of armistice signed on April 5.

Last night, the Azerbaijani armed forces have again violated ceasefire by opening fire from small arms of various calibres, reports the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The Defence Army has refrained from any response, the "News-Armenia" reports.

In turn, Azerbaijan has accused the Armenian side of 12 cases of shelling.
