9 die in Moscow blast
According to the recent data of the Moscow prosecutor's office, 9 people were killed in the explosion near the Rizhskaya metro station: 7 died at the scene, the other 2 died in a hospital. 51 people were injured.
The capacity of the explosive device that went off near the Rizhskaya station is preliminary estimated at about 2 kilograms of trotyl equivalent with damaging elements, the public relations center of the Federal Security Service has reported.
"It [bomb] was set off by a woman suicide bomber, according to witnesses' evidence and experts' opinion," the center's representative said.
Islambuli Brigades, an Islamic group, has claimed responsibility for the terror attack. Earlier this terrorist group claimed responsibility for the Tu-134 and Tu-154 plane crashes.
The blast near the Rizhskaya station occurred at 8:07 p.m. August 31.
