IS reports execution of North-Caucasian woman

The information about the death of Elvira Karaeva was published by one of the Russian-language magazines of the "Islamic State" (IS), Fatima Tlisova, a journalist of the "Voice of America", reported on May 12.

According to the IS magazine, Karaeva was under militants' suspicion since her arrival in Syria in 2013. Terrorists had "repeatedly interrogated" Karaeva, but she "categorically denied all the charges." However, after the IS received audio records from jihadists of Ingushetia, proving her cooperation with the FSB, Karaeva confessed of "all the crimes" and was executed by one of IS mujahideens by a shot in her temple," wrote Ms Tlisova.

Militants assert that they could get the evidence of seven cases, when "Karaeva "gave away to the FSB" militants in Northern Caucasus.

Elvira Karaeva was born and lived in Karachay-Cherkessia, and later moved to Makhachkala, where she got acquainted with a group of young women who produced handmade soap, sold it in Russia, and send the revenues to militants in Syria. In 2012, she received a conditional sentence for helping terrorists; and in 2013, she went to Syria with her four-year-old daughter, the "Life" reports.
