Prosecutor's Office found no violations in Rostov airport in connection with air crash
The South Transport Prosecutor's Office has conducted a general supervisory check at the airport of Rostov-on-Don on the fact of the crash of the “FlyDubai” aircraft. During the check, no violations were found and no grounds for the prosecutor's intervention, said a source from the Office.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Boeing-737 crashed down at night on March 19, killing all the 55 passengers and 7 crew members. On April 20, the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) called a pilots’ error as the basic version of the accident.
During the check, the above Prosecutor's Office examined the permits and found that the Rostov Airport complies with the aviation regulations and is fit for international flights.
It was also found that the airport equipment used at take-offs and landings is operated in accordance with the established procedures and taking into account the outcomes of annual flight checks, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
