CTO regime introduced in Magaramkent District of Dagestan

In the Magaramkent District of Dagestan, power agents have launched a counterterrorist operation (CTO) to search for and detain supposed militants.

"The head of the Dagestani republic's operative headquarters decided to introduce the CTO regime, starting from 8:00 p.m. Moscow time of Monday, within the administrative boundaries of the Magaramkent District," said a source from the operative headquarters.

According to his story, the CTO regime "was introduced in order to prevent the commission of terror acts, ensure safety of citizens, organizations and institutions, and search and detention of hiding members of the bandit underground," the "Interfax" reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 10 the Magaramkent District was also put under the CTO regime.
