Two men found in a car blown up in the Tabasaran District of Dagestan will be identified with the help of an expertise. This was reported by a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 30, a car was blown up in the vicinity of the village of Sirtich. As a result, one policeman was killed and another one was injured. According to some reports, the policemen were chasing a car from the Suleiman-Stalsky District, and when they caught up with the suspects, an explosion occurred. According to other reports, the explosion occurred in the car en route. The exact number of victims of the explosion is still to be discovered.

This morning, a Dagestani law enforcer has reported new details about the incident. According to the source, the police tried to stop a VAZ-2110 car for a check, but its driver did not stop and drove forward about 500 meters. Later, while the policemen were checking the documents, a powerful explosive device was activated inside the car, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

According to the law enforcer, "charred remains of two militants were found in the car."

"Law enforcers believe that the deceased men were members of a southern criminal grouping," noted the law enforcer.

According to the preliminary information, the power of the explosive device was 15 kg of TNT equivalent, the "Interfax-South" reports today with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.

The source has also confirmed that the remains of two men were found inside the blown up car.

"One of them has been preliminary identified as Elchin Nurmagomed-Ogly Gadjiev, a native of Azerbaijan," reports the source.
