The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 30, a car was blown up in the vicinity of the village of Sirtich. As a result, one policeman was killed and another one was injured. This morning, a Dagestani law enforcer has reported new details about the incident. According to the source, the police tried to stop a VAZ-2110 car for a check, but its driver did not stop and drove forward about 500 meters. Later, while the policemen were checking the documents, a powerful explosive device was activated inside the car, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

According to the law enforcer, "charred remains of two militants were found in the car."

"Law enforcers believe that the deceased men were members of a southern criminal grouping," noted the law enforcer.

According to the preliminary information, the power of the explosive device was 15 kg of TNT equivalent, the "Interfax-South" reports today with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.

The source has also confirmed that the remains of two men were found inside the blown up car.
