Advocates ask to transfer case of Marem Alieva's murder from Ingushetia to Moscow

Investigators do not inform Elizaveta Alieva and her representatives on the progress of the investigation into the murder of her sister, and she continues to receive threats, although she is under public protection. This became the basis for the request to transfer the investigation to Moscow, state advocates of the "Legal Initiative for Russia".

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Marem Alieva, a resident of Ingushetia, disappeared in September 2015. Elizaveta, a sister of Marem Alieva, was recognized as a victim. She herself and her husband were kidnapped on July 10, 2015, but released due to the police response. The Ingush woman claims that her kidnapping involved the people who may had been involved in the disappearance of her sister.

According to Olga Gnezdilova, an advocate of the project "Legal Initiative", the reason for the request for transfer of the case was the lack of results of the investigation and the threats received by the victims.

Operational and investigative measures were carried out within the investigation, but nothing was reported on the results of the examinations, reports advocate Vitaly Zubenko.

During the inspection of the house in which Alieva lived, law enforcers seized a carpet with spots resembling signs of blood. "This has become one of the grounds for institution of a criminal case of murder," noted the advocate.

Let us remind you that the last news from Marem came on September 19, 2015, when she called her sister and said that she feared physical violence because of the fact that she received threats of revenge for her complaint filed to the law enforcement bodies about a regular beating.
