Kadyrov states that killed IS militants had prepared series of terror acts

The militants, killed during the today's counterterrorist operation (CTO) in Grozny, had been trained in Syria and were planning a series of major terror acts, Ramzan Kadyrov has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today power agents have conducted a CTO in the Staropromyslovskiy District of Grozny and killed four militants who had returned from Syria, said representatives of power structures. Three policemen were wounded, said the spokesman for the Russian MIA.

According to latest data of the MIA, three militants, not four, as reported earlier, were killed in the special operation in Grozny.

Those killed are the 26-year-old Zelimkhan Bashanaev, the 33-year-old Magomed Mazaev and Shamil Chergizov, the “LifeNews” reports.

The slain militants had been trained at the IS camps and "prepared major terror acts," the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov has stated.

Kadyrov has also noted in his message that during the CTO "one policeman received a slight tangent wound." This information is contrary to the MIA’s data, according to which three policemen were wounded during the CTO. Two of them, according to the MIA, are in grave condition.
