In Dagestan, head of Karamakhi village killed

Today, the body of Migitin Djavadov, the head of Karamakhi village of the Buynaksk District of Dagestan, has been found in a forest in the Karabudakhkent District.

According to an official from the Buynaksk District Administration, the kidnapping of the head of Karamakhi village was reported late at night of September 30.

Armed men in masks broke into the house of the village head. They forced Migitin Djavadov into their car and drove him away to some unknown destination. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by the official from the Buynaksk District Administration.

This afternoon, the Migitin Djavadov's car was discovered in the Karabudakhkent District. The body of Migitin Djavadov was found in a forest, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by an official from the Investigating Department for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

According to the ICRF's official, the investigative measures are underway "to establish all the circumstances of the incident." "Various versions are being examined, and there is no priority version," the ICRF's official has noted.
