CTO in Zayukovo becomes third special operation conducted in Baksan District during this year
The special operation ongoing in the village of Zayukovo has become the third such event in the Baksan District of KBR in 2015. In June, the regime of counterterrorist operation (CTO) was introduced in the vicinity of the village of Atazhukino, and in July in the area between the city of Baksan and the village of Dygulybgei.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the counterterrorist operation (CTO) has been introduced today in the village of Zayukovo at 5:00 a.m. Moscow time. According to a source from the law enforcement bodies, the special operation is being carried out in the vicinity of Zayukovo village, where militants were found. They took refuge in a dugout in the forest and opened fire on law enforcers.
As of 12:15 a.m. Moscow time, no official information about the special operation was published on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the KBR.
At 5:00 a.m. Moscow time of June 5, the special legal regime was introduced at northwest from the village of Atazhukino. Two persons, who, according to law enforcers, initiated opening of fire, were killed in the vicinity of the village.
On July 14, in the Baksan District, law enforcers discovered a camp of militants, who initiated a firefight. The CTO regime was introduced in the area between the city of Baksan and the village of Dygulybgei. Three members of the armed underground were killed in an armed clash. According to the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), the killed men were members of an illegal armed formation (IAF) involved in a series of murders committed in the territory of KBR and the Stavropol Territory.
