Advocate Denisenko reports her detention on border of Dagestan and Stavropol Territory

The lawyer Elena Denisenko was taken off the bus by employees of the GIBDD (traffic police) at the checkpoint located on the administrative border of Dagestan and Stavropol Territory.

"I was detained at the checkpoint; they took me off the bus and now wait for information from the MIA of Dagestan. I don't know the reason of detention; and they wouldn't explain anything," Elena Denisenko told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

She recalled that on October 31, 2014, she was also detained her at a checkpoint between Stavropol Territory and Dagestan. Then, she associated her detention with the defence of the rights of Patimat Nasibova, a resident of the village of Kirovaul. However, according to Denisenko, after that incident, she crossed the above border for many times and had no problems.
