In Nalchik, body of taxi driver found in burnt-out car

In the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, a body of a man was found in a burnt-out car. The man used to be engaged in an off-hour work as a private taxi driver.

The incident was recorded in the evening of May 9; however, it was reported only yesterday.

The body of the driver with thermal burns was found in a burnt-out VAZ-2114 car at the poorly attended section of the roadway in front of the restaurant "Barrel". This was reported on May 14 by the press-service of the Investigating Department for Kabardino-Balkaria of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

"The victim was later identified as Marat Alexeevich Bagirov," states the report posted on the ICRF's website.

Marat Bagirov, a 25-year-old owner of the burnt-out car, used to work as a car mechanic in Nalchik, and in the evenings, he was engaged in the off-hour work as a taxi driver, the "Svobodnaya Pressa-Yug" reports.

The criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder), the press service of the Investigating Department for Kabardino-Balkaria of the ICRF reports.
