Witnesses report that jurymen discuss data from Internet about Budanov's murder

Information about the murder of Budanov from the Internet was discussed in the deliberation room, witnesses reported on March 11 in the course of consideration of the case of former jurymen, now accused of obstructing the justice. One of the ex-jurymen has also recollected some talks about the blood feud, but added that he did not perceive them as a threat.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 10 the Preobrazhensky District Court of Moscow began considering the case of two former jurors Diana Lomonosova and Vitaly Pronin. They are accused of obstructing justice in the case of the murder of former Colonel Yuri Budanov. Diana Lomonosova has stated her innocence, while Vitaly Pronin admitted his guilt in full, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

Yuri Budanov, who had been convicted for kidnapping and murder of the Chechen girl Elza Kungaeva, was shot dead on June 10, 2011, in Moscow. Yusup Temerkhanov, a native of Chechnya, was detained on suspicion of his murder. In May 2013, the court found Temerkhanov guilty and sentenced him to 15 years in a high security colony.
