Body of a civilian found under ruins of House of Press in Grozny (+video)

Under the rubbles of the House of Press in Grozny, where militants were hiding, the body of a civilian was found, said the spokesman of the Operative Headquarters for Liquidation of IAF members. In his turn, a source close to the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Chechnya said that during the storming of the House of Press the chairman of the Association, who was on the 9th level of the building, was killed.

Let us remind you that last night in Grozny policemen were attacked. The counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced in the centre of Grozny.

"According to our information, the chairman of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Chechnya got choked with smoke from the fire that burst out in the House of Press after the armed clash of power agents with the militants who had captured the building," the above source told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Dead bodies of power agents are brought to the MIA; later, they will be given out to relatives for burial, said a source from the Chechen MIA. "Every family will receive, as ordered by the head of the republic, one million roubles," he said.

Grozny residents, who live in the central part of the city, report about the indiscriminate fire opened by power agents involved in the operation. They also report that some entrances to Grozny were blocked.
