In Karabudakhkent District, law enforcers planted firearms on a local, his relatives assert

Relatives of a resident of the village of Gudben, Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan, report that firearms were planted on him during a search.

Magomedzagir Gazimagomedov, born in 1977, was detained at the check post at the entrance to the village of Gurbuki in the evening on November 24, Gusein Gazimagomedov, Magomedzagir's cousin, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"Magomedzagir and his father were invited in, allegedly for registration; they were kept there for more than an hour; and then the law enforcers began inspecting the car. All this time the car stood unattended and unlocked, since neither my uncle nor Magomedzagir could suspect any trick. Then, already during the inspection, they found a pistol in the car – a traumatic pistol converted into a fighting weapon," said Gusein Gazimagomedov.

According to his version, "this was the reason for Magomedzagir's detention, although he immediately stated that it was not his pistol."

The Karabudakhkent ROVD (District Interior Division) refused to provide any information about the detainee to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
