Natalia Kunitskaya: suicide bombing in Volgograd committed by Dagestani native Naida Asiyalova

Suicide bombing in the Volgograd bus was committed by Naida Asiyalova, a 30-year-old native of Dagestan. This was reported by Natalia Kunitskaya, Spokespersons of the Investigating Department of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation for the region. At the place of the terror act, bodies of seven persons were found, and 32 persons were hospitalized to the city hospitals.

The explosion in the bus in Volgograd occurred this afternoon. According to the preliminary information of the investigators, the terror act was committed by a female suicide bomber, who recently converted to Islam and who was the wife of one of the leaders of the armed underground.

According to the information obtained by the investigators, Naida Asiyalova got on the bus at one of the stops, and almost immediately after that the explosion occurred.

The female suicide bomber could be the wife of Dmitry Sokolov, a militant from the "Makhachkala" criminal grouping. This was stated by a source at the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan. "We check the information that the female suicide bomber could be Naida Asiyalova, the Dmitry Sokolov's wife. They studied together at a Moscow university, where the young woman recruited Dmitry Sokolov, and he left everything, went to Dagestan and joined militants," the "ITAR-TASS" quotes the source as saying.

Let us remind you that the today's explosion in the bus in Volgograd became the second bombing since the beginning of 2013. Earlier, there were attempts to undermine police buildings the city. On April 26, 2011, in Volgograd, two explosions also occurred.
