Ingush authorities and graduates refute reports on violent searches before USE in Troitskaya

The government of Ingushetia, the school staff and school graduates refute the information disseminated in social networks that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Ingushetia Musa Chiliev personally searched graduates, in order to find cribs, prior to the Unified State Examination (USE) in the village of Troitskaya. The author of the entry to "Livejournal" has also acknowledged that he had spread the unverified information.

The incident allegedly occurred in the village of Troitskaya on May 27, the blogger named mecnaz wrote in his online diary in "Livejournal". By June 2 the entry "USE in the Ingush way, or stop tormenting our children" was removed from public access; however, it managed to cause a stir in the blogosphere.

"The school was flooded by OMON (riot police) agents (Attention!) with dogs; and Chiliev himself inspected classrooms and looked for cribs and mobile phones on the children," said the message. Later, the blogger mecnaz wrote that he had learnt about the incident from hearsay.

However, school officials, who were involved in taking the USE, and the government officials denied these facts in their conversation with the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to Roza Djikaeva, the principal of School No. 2 in Troitskaya, where the USE Centre is located, the Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Ingushetia followed the course of the examination for about an hour. Upon leaving the school, he praised the staff for the good organization of the USE, said Djikaeva.

Ruslan Kodzoev, the Minister of Education of the Republic of Ingushetia, knows nothing about the alleged incident in Troitskaya. He noted that since the beginning of the USE in Ingushetia, not a single serious incident was registered.

Later, the blogger mecnaz, who had posted the information in his blog "Doctor's Notes" in the "Livejournal", confessed that he had spread unverified information. He apologized to Musa Chiliev and asked the readers and everyone who had made a repost of his entry of May 27, to delete the message.
