Seven persons killed in special operation in Chechen-Ingush border

As reported by the spokesman of the Russia's National Antiterrorism Committee (NAC), in the course of a special operation conducted by the power agents on the border between Chechnya and Ingushetia, seven militants were killed.

The NAC has reported that two kilometres off the village of Dattykh, Sunzha District of Ingushetia, FSB and MIA agents found a grouping of members of illegal armed formations (IAFs). According to the above agencies, the grouping was up to 15 people strong.

The active phase of the special operation on the Chechen-Ingush border continues; there are no losses among power agents and no victims among civilians, the "Interfax" reports with reference to the NAC.

The RIA "Novosti" adds that four submachine guns, three grenade launchers, grenades and plenty of ammunition were found in the collision area.
