Azerbaijani detained for shooting at wedding party in Moscow

An 18-year-old native of Azerbaijan, who on November 12 shot from a traumatic pistol at the wedding party, was detained for two days. This was reported by the Moscow police.

According to the police, he, "flagrantly violating the public order, ignoring the rules of conduct, generally accepted in the civil society, and endangering lives and health of people, made from the traumatic gun at least five shots."

A criminal case was instituted against the detainee under Article "hooliganism". The Article provides maximum penalty of 5 years of imprisonment. This was reported at the website of the Chief Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in Moscow.

The young man was a member of a wedding procession of nine cars. At the time, when the wedding procession drove near the house No. 50 in Academician Anokhin Street, he made several shots from his pistol. Participants of the wedding procession did not respond to the demands to stop, and then wedding procession was blocked, the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to the Moscow police.

The shooter's name is Seimour Nabizade, and he is the winner of many competitions in free-style wrestling. During the search, policemen found with him one more pistol, a bat, handcuffs, and a "flasher", the "Life News" reports with reference to a source at the law enforcement agencies.

The other eight drivers of the wedding procession were released after administrative protocols were completed against them. The Moscow Branch of the All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress will hold preventive conversations with them, the "Izvestia" reports.
