Workers engaged in construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Jeikhan oil pipeline are on strike in Georgia
The strike of workers engaged in the building of the Baku-Tbilisi-Jeikhan oil pipeline, announced December 15, is not ceasing. It should be reminded that over 150 workers demand a rise in wages.
Due to the action, construction works are ceased in the towns of Rustavi and Marneuli, which are mainly populated by Azerbaijanians. As reported by Georgian sources, among those striking are Azerbaijanians as well.
