Civilian shot dead at Karabakh-Azerbaijani border
On May 11, Araik Balasanyan, a tractor driver and a resident of Nagorno-Karabakh, died from a bullet at the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani troops. Nagorno-Karabakh blames Azerbaijani militaries for the murder of the civilian.
The incident occurred at around 6:00 p.m. Araik Nelsonovich Balasanyan, 33, a resident of the village of Kyuratag, Khadrut District, was wounded in his head by a shot from the Azerbaijani side, when he was working on his tractor, and died on the way to the Khadrut civil hospital at 7:20 p.m., as reported by the press service of the Defence Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
Now the Armenian party clarifies the details of the incident, the "News.am" reports.
So far, there are no comments of the Azerbaijani party on the incident.
Let us note here that on May 10, according to the Defence Ministry of Azerbaijan, the Armenian party violated the ceasefire regime by shelling from the nameless uplands of the Krasnoselskiy District of Armenia the positions of Azerbaijani troops deployed on the nameless uplands of the Gedabey District.
