Activists of Abkhazian public and political movement "Akhyatsa" met with deputies of Abkhazian Parliament
Since the meeting was held on the initiative of the movement "Akhyatsa", its representative Akhra Bzhaniya offered a subject for discussion. It was titled "Balance of Forces and Measure of Responsibility in the Abkhazian Society".
In the opinion of the "Akhyatsa" activist, "the adoption of any law which is irreproachable from the juridical point of view can be adjourned if its interpretation causes social tension in the society." Akhra Bzhaniya made a critical evaluation to the activity of the Forum of People's Consent, the participants in which are not only parliamentarians but activists of republican political movements and parties as well.
"The parliament itself is a forum of people's consent in a certain sense. To create a structure that takes this right somehow or other, means to weaken the parliament, depriving it of if popular character, skillfulness and impartiality," holds Mr. Bzhaniya.
Batal Djopua, another "Akhyatsa" activist, devoted his speech to the issues of confidence in deputies and the Parliament as a whole.
Speaker of the Parliament Nugzar Ashuba stressed it was always necessary to have a dialogue with public and political parties and movements.
As for the Forum of People's Consent, Mr. Ashuba said he would not speak about it until it was legally registered.
