Local observers: "Parliamentary election in Georgia was chaotic and uncoordinated"
Zurab Chiaberashvili, executive director of the Georgian non-government organization "Fair Elections", which widely monitors the election process, described the parliamentary election that went off in Georgia as "chaotic and uncoordinated".
According to him, information collected by his organization about the voters' activity allows to consider the election taken place; however, its legitimacy will be known latter - in particular, it will be possible to made up conclusions after the parallel count of votes carried out by "Fair Elections" is summed up.
The Georgian Young Lawyers Association, which observed the course of the voting, declared that it was about to register claims, as well as to lodge complaints to election commissions concerning the violations during the election. Giorgi Chkheidze, a spokesman of the Association, made the Georgian Interior Ministry and Central Election Commission responsible for the grave situation that arose about the voter lists everywhere.
