Human rights through children's eyes
The student essay competition "Human Rights in Modern World" is annually conducted within the framework of the UN Human Rights Education in Russia Project. And here is the first result. Bika Ibragimova, an eleventh-form student from Secondary School 4 of Makhachkala, reportedly reached the competition final. Her thesis is "Problems of Children in Modern World".
It is interesting to note that one of the 2002 competition winners, a ninth-form student from Makhachkala Secondary School 13 Zaur Musayev also wrote about the problems of children.
