Webcams installed near Elbrus in Kabardino-Balkaria
Now, when webcams have been installed near the Mount of Elbrus, competitions in alpine skiing and snowboarding can be watched in real time. Besides, tourists can see the weather conditions and choose the most suitable time for rest.

Albert Malbakhov, a resident of Nalchik, a sports fan and advocate of extreme rest, has expressed his satisfaction with the novelty.
"Watching competitions in the mountains is excellent. Also, before going to ski I'll be able to see the presence of snow in the mountains and study the nature of snow coverage," he told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
The first major competition, which can be watched in the online mode, will be the forthcoming 5th stage of the Cup of Russia in alpine skiing to be held near Elbrus on February 3-6 in the disciplines of giant and super-giant slalom.
