Orlov intends to plead not guilty during interrogation at Kadyrov's suit

The interrogation of Oleg Orlov, head of human rights center "Memorial" , in connection with accusation under the criminal case of slander of the Chechen president Ramzan Kadyrov whom Orlov accused of complicity in the murder of Natalia Estemirova, "Memorial" employee in Grozny, will start on July 6 at 14.30. Details may be found from the "Caucasian Knot".

On July 6, charges will be laid to Oleg Orlov, then he will be interrogated. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports that the human rights activist has stated today he intends to plead not guilty. "I have no idea, how much time the interrogation may last. I am in an even spirit and I intend to plead not guilty", states Orlov.

For reference, after the prosecutor's office has passed a decision to extend the investigation, it is handled by Khatchenkova Yulia Victorovna.
