Human rights monitoring of Moscow Helsinki Group

The second number of the Bulletin of the Moscow Helsinki Group which is devoted, like the first one, to the theme "Presidential Elections in Chechnya: Human Rights Monitoring" came out on September 26.

The bulletin is published with the informational assistance of the "Caucasian Knot" Internet source, with the support of the Russian Research Center for Human Rights, the Human Rights House Network, and the International Helsinki Federation.

The following materials are in the second number of the Bulletin:

  • Defender of Sochi gardeners' rights claims illegal prosecution

    Law enforcers have conducted a search of the home of Tatiana Polivanova, an activist, and her family members in Taganrog in connection with a fraud case with land plots of the Sochi National Park. The Polivanova's organization provided legal assistance to dozens of gardeners whose plots were seized by the court within this case.
