Migration Service recalculates refugees, but it is reluctant to ensure people with humanitarian relief
The residents of refugee tent camps on the territory of Ingushetia have not been receiving humanitarian relief from the Migration Service for over ten months. It was reported at the Ingush Migration Service.
According to Ali Parov, head of the Sunzha District Migration Department, he did not know why the humanitarian relief program was delayed. "Actually, we have not supplied the refugees with the food products, but our service is not responsible for this delay. We are not charged to buy humanitarian assistance and do not have funds either. If we receive the products we distribute them right away," the clerk said in his interview with the Caucasus Times agency.
As of now, the internally displaced persons maintain their families by themselves. There are a few humanitarian organizations providing humanitarian assistance, namely the Danish Refugee Council and the International Organization "Islamic Relief". However, food products have been delivered to the refugee camps with delays since last year.
"Actually, we do not insist on humanitarian relief. We would manage to find jobs to earn some money if we were not counted every week by migration service employees," complains Zargan Ulubayeva, a woman from the "Sputnik" tent camp. "We have been in here for three days, waiting for the migration service to come."
