Defendants in case on Kondopoga fight sentenced to 3-22 years in prison

Six defendants figuring in the criminal case about the mass fight in the city of Kondopoga are sentenced to imprisonment for the terms from 3 years and 10 months to 22 years in colony.

The court has found that a twin murder was committed by Islam Magomadov and a murder attempt was accomplished by him. It was also established that all the defendants made hooligan actions by using objects as weapons, by previous concert and by a group of persons.

As a result, the court awarded Islam Magomadov with 22 years of imprisonment, Gerikhan Magomadov and Magomed Akhmadov - with 3 years and 10 months, Bakanaev - 10 years, Edilsultanov - 6 years, Kamillov - 6 years and 2 months of imprisonment. Gerikhan and Magomed may get at large already this July, if their verdict is not appealed against - they have already almost served their terms in the course of investigation and trial, the "Vesti.Karelia.Ru" reports.

The defendants refused to plead guilty and expressed their readiness to complain to the European Court of Human Rights.
