Krasnodar Territory is in the lead by attracted investments at "Sochi-2009" Forum

In total, 238 contracts to the sum of 481.8 billion roubles have been signed at the 8th International Investment Forum in Sochi. The organizers of the Forum report that the majority of them were signed by representatives of the Krasnodar Territory, which will accumulate more than two thirds of the total involved investments.

The Krasnodar Territory presented to Sochi 1300 investment proposals to the total sum of over 400 billion roubles, including 400 turn-key projects and about 900 investment sites with the developed conditions in place for connecting to the infrastructure. The "Caucasian Knot" was told by the administration of the territory that in total 177 contracts were signed to the sum of 351 billion roubles.

Broad-scale investments will go to development of the local fuel-and-energy complex; agreements have been reached to build new resort-and-recreational and sporting-and-entertaining complexes in the Black Sea coastal zone of the Krasnodar Territory.
