Meeting in memory of Natalia Estemirova held in Paris
In the evening on July 17, about 150 persons came to St Michel Square in Paris to commemorate the perished human rights activist Natalia Estemirova.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by Sasha Kulaeva, director of the Bureau for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the International Federation of Human Rights (FIDH), that about 150 persons rallied in one of the most animated Paris places: "These were human rights activists, Chechen refugees and Frenchmen." She has added that people held posters: "No to impunity!", "Natalia Estemirova will always be with us", "No to political murders in Russia!", "Politkovskaya, Markelov, Estemirova - will there be an end to it?"
