Human rights activists to help deportee from Egypt Makhsud Abdullaev

As reported by the press service of Nurdi Nukhazhiev, Ombudsman in the Chechen Republic, local human rights activists are ready to help Maskhud Abdullaev, a native of Chechnya and deported student from Egypt, in obtaining the general civil Russian passport, and to defend his rights.

The meeting of human rights activists with Al-Aznar Makhsud Abdullaev, a student of the Cairo University, took place in the office of the Ombudsman in the Chechen Republic. The main cause for the meeting was in mass detentions of Chechen students in Cairo in early June this year, after which two of them, including Maskhud Abdullaev, were deported from Egypt.

Ombudsman Nurdi Nukhazhiev asked about the circumstances of deportation and what happened with Maskhud after his arrival to Moscow. The Chechen student, in his turn, said that the reason of deportation of two Chechen students from Egypt was in their expired visas.
