Chechnya: militants who wounded four militiamen are searched
In the submontane Achkhoy-Martan District of Chechnya, a special operation is underway to search a group of militants who attacked on June 11 a militia motor column and wounded four militiamen.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed that "at the entrance to Bamut a group of militants attacked two cars with employees of the temporary operative grouping of Russian MIA in Chechnya. Bandits used tubular grenade launchers and automatic firearms; four militiamen from Kemerovo were wounded and hospitalized."
After a short skirmish, the militants retreated and disappeared in a large forest. Now, the forces of militia and Military Commandant's Office hold actions to detain them, as reported by a source from the Chechnya's MIA.
