Would-be terrorists liquidated in Chechnya rendered no resistance, eyewitnesses say

The young men, whose liquidation was reported today by the MIA of Chechnya and who were named as helpers of the suicide-bomber who committed the terror act in Grozny on May 15, did not render any armed resistance to militiamen. Natalia Estemirova, representative of the HRC "Memorial", told about it to the "Caucasian Knot" with reference to eyewitnesses.

According to the MIA of Chechnya, on May 15, in the Staropromyslovskiy District of Grozny, Adam Belimkhanov, 24, was shot dead at an attempt to trigger a grenade. Local residents really saw an unknown young man sit down on a bench near the mosque. Suddenly, power agents arrived, they ordered the guy not to move; someone of them shot him from behind; then, they made a control shot in his nape. Then, they took the body and left.

According to Chechnya's MIA, in Yaroslavskaya Street, an "active member of illegal armed formations (IAFs) Taimer Ubaidullaev, 26, who was in federal search, was blocked"; he rendered armed resistance and was shot dead by response fire. According to local residents, this is the address of a semi-ruined house, the gate of which has long-ago bullet holes. The residents of this street assert that there was no skirmish there. Power agents entered the yard of this house in a big group, took a woman and children out of the neighbouring house; then one explosion was made.
